Tips For Having a PURRFECT Relationship With Your Cat

Nutrition

Good nutrition is extremely important to ensure that your cat lives a long, happy and healthy life. It is one of the best (and easiest) things you can do for them.

Read the labels! Look for naturally preserved foods with wholesome ingredients. Some foods are made with animal parts that offer no nutritional value and are full of chemicals and preservatives.

Scratching Posts

You will need a scratching post for your cat--declawing is a painful, dangerous and unnecessary procedure which holds no benefit for your pet. Declawed cats often develop behavioral problems that become even more undesirable than inappropriate scratching (such as biting and litter box avoidance).

Most posts sold in pet stores are carpeted or with lightweight sisal
and are not very effective. High-quality scratching posts can be
ordered through such vendors as Felix Post (the Felix Extra Large
Katnip Tree) by calling 206.547.0042 or TopCat at
www.topcatproducts.com.
