  Please note: Volunteers may only sign up for an opportunity AFTER attending an orientation, with the exception of volunteers helping out at Admissions & Recovery Center during the Iowa Flood Mission.

Selecting an event or shift below SIGNS YOU UP for the event or shift.  Please plan on showing up at the designated time. For weekend adoption events, you will receive an email one week prior to the event with more information. If you cannot attend the event that you signed up for,  please contact the Volunteer Program Manager at shosemann@pawschicago.org or 773.687.4715.

Volunteers are needed to assist in the arrival, daily care, feeding, walking, Meet Your Match assessing and getting the dogs ready for adoption!

Foster Care - Help PAWS Chicago save more lives by opening your home to foster a cat or dog!
Dog walking & cat socialization at 3516 W. 26th Street in Chicago.
  Create your own shift!  Any time Monday through Friday between 8am to 5pm or Saturday/Sunday between 8pm to 4pm.  If signing up for your first shift you will be trained when you arrive by a lead volunteer or staff member.  Please remember to wear close-toed shoes with good traction.
