Claws: Yes
Age: Approximately 3 Years
Rescuer Info: Lisa Ward & Toni McNaughton
Special Needs: FeLV+
Comments:
Until recently, this phenomenal beauty had been living in an
alley located a short, scary distance from a busy intersection.
A broken window which led to a laundry room allowed her a residence for
the winter. Without the warmth of
this room and the kind woman who fed her during the bitter cold months, Taylor
likely wouldn't have made it to her day of rescue.
Taylor appears to be a very healthy young cat, but she has tested
positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia).
For those of you who are familiar with FeLV, you know it makes Taylor an
extra special kitty. FeLV positive
cats can remain symptom-free for years and enjoy their lives as beloved
companions. This knowledge just
makes us that much more determined to find her a wonderful home, where she can
be spoiled rotten by the lucky human who is first in line to adopt her!
When a cat tests positive for FeLV, it is possible for her body to rid
itself of the virus. We will be retesting Taylor In the next few weeks and
months, in hopes that her “+” becomes a “-“. Until you meet her, you truly can't
appreciate that Taylor is so incredibly sweet and gentle.
There are parts of her life story that we'll never know. What we do know
is that this precious little girl was left on the streets to fend for herself.
Taylor has already stolen the hearts of everyone who has met her.
You are guaranteed to find joy, love and a calming presence with Taylor
in your heart & home.
