Hey dude! I’m one cool cat!
Hey, you’ve gotta be tough if you want to make it on the streets of this
city! But I’d seen it all, so I
decided it was time to toss that life and make a go as a house cat.
(Good grief, can’t anybody come up with a better name than that?)
But I’m hangin’ out with a really cool crowd now!
They’re from the streets too, but I can still scare the bejeevers outta
them with some of my stories from the past!
And hey, don’t think I’m goin’ soft just cuz I sleep on these really
comfy beds now! And you know those
little crinkle balls that make a lot of noise when you tackle ‘em?
Just let somebody else get to those first--those puppies are mine!
Kirby’s foster mom weighs in:
This little guy was caught, neutered and released.
But he was given another chance to make a go as a house cat because he
kept hanging around, asking to be noticed.
Kirby enjoys human attention and companionship.
He asks to be petted, loves a good back scratch and is at home on my lap.
There’s nothing shy about Kirby, and he truly can’t resist those foil
balls! Kirby is a work in progress,
a genuine diamond-in-the-rough who needs the right someone to help him shine for
all he’s worth! And please don’t
tell him, but he walks around muttering under his breath.
It’s adorable! As for other
cats, Kirby’s attitude is, “Hey, what’s the point of having a rumble by
yourself??”
