Hi PAWS!
Dax (PAWS Name Denny) is doing great. I am attaching a photo of Dax and Greg (my husband), taken recently at my parent's house!
- Lisa Dawson

Hi PAWS!
My name is Bailey and I am a puppy that was recently adopted from PAWS. Most of you may know me as Donnie; the 4-month-old, 10-pound, wiry white pup. My foster family had me for a mere 36 hours when they decided they couldn't part with me, gave me my new name, and made me a part of their home. Even though I am the first male dog to be introduced into the Walter family, I fit right in with my fellow white-haired sister, Sophia the Maltese. We're not quite sure what
breed I am, but everyone agrees I am cute, so that's OK by me! Since I've been in my new home, I have grown to be a healthy 21 pounds and the vet says I may even reach 30 pounds! I have made many new friends in the city and enjoy my morning walks along Lake Michigan. My many thanks to PAWS for all the hard work finding me my new family - I am so grateful!
- Bailey and The Walter Family

Dear PAWS,
This is Frankie (PAWS name Frank), just one of the dogs that was
rescued from Hurricane Katrina. He recently celebrated his first birthday. I am so happy that PAWS brought Frankie and me together. He is so friendly, loving, and entertaining. I can't imagine my life now without him. Thank you!
- Lisa and Frankie

Hello PAWS! Here is a picture of my two kitties I got from PAWS about 2 ½ months ago. Their names while they were at PAWS were Denise (who we now call Leia) and Vanessa (now known as Jezebel). They are beautiful!! Leia is on the right... Thanks!
- Priscilla Magalee and Dan Wachter

Hi PAWS,
Parker is doing so well! Every day she is more and more comfortable and does something new. She LOVES my other cat Lorenzo. They bonded right away and they cuddle, play, and clean each other. They are so cute together! She comes out and plays when I call her name and really loves her toys, too. Again, I am just so happy to have such a sweet girl! She has the cutest, chirpy little meow that she talks to me and Lorenzo in. As the
days go on and I spend more and more time with her, she keeps opening up and it is so rewarding. Thanks again for all of your work. It is because of people like you that Parker has a very happy home! - Tahiti Arsulowicz

Dear PAWS Chicago,
Sugar (PAWS name: LuAnn), is doing GREAT! She is growing like a weed and has already gone with us on a camping trip. She has adjusted to our kids, our other dog, and the house. The best news of all is that she is almost potty trained! Thanks for a great experience.
- The Johnsons

Dear PAWS Chicago:
Indy has been a blessing since I brought him into my life a few months ago. He's playful and affectionate. He sleeps with me at night and greets me at door after work. Thank you PAWS!
 - Amy Blickhahn

Izzy and Bailey (PAWS names: August and January) are doing great! When I first got Bailey she was shy and scared of people, but over the past few weeks she has really opened up and now cannot get enough attention. She is really a sweetheart. Izzy has been a little mischief-maker since I got her and so she continually keeps me entertained. They are a wonderful addition to my life. Thanks for everything! - Courtney Pigott

Hello PAWS Chicago,
Sake is doing very well and he is growing fast and healthy! He is just an adorable kitten. We are very happy with him. Thank You.
- John & Margarita Santoni

  Hi PAWS,
I just wanted to send an update to all of you at PAWS regarding my adoption of Augie (her new name is Sushi), the Pekingese that I adopted two weeks ago. I'm incredibly lucky to have found her through your organization! Needless to say, she is adjusting extremely well to her new home and is making many new friends in our East Lakeview neighborhood! She's so easy-going and is always happy to meet other dogs and people.
It's great to have found a dog that everyone loves!  I'll be taking her to St. Louis with me over Labor Day to meet her Pekingese cousins, Rudy and Kobi, my parent's and brother's dogs. I appreciate your help in my being able to meet Sushi right away and ultimately, being able to adopt her immediately. She truly is the perfect match for me and a wonderful new friend to come home to after a day at work and to hang out with regularly. Thanks again!
Take care, Dorie Sher

Dear PAWS Chicago,
My new kittens Basha (PAWS Name Basu) and Mozart are doing well. My dogs are being very nice to their new kitty friends. Basha and Mozart are not afraid of them in the least. Mozart lays in the doorway and when my dog Zack walks by, he just rolls over. I have been trying to get a good group picture of my family, but this is the best I could do so far. They all move or look the other way just
before I can snap the shot.  Thanks again! Take care. - Diane Schneider

It has been 4 weeks since I adopted P.J. (PAWS name Patsy). She is getting relaxed and always purring and can be very sweet at times and her personality is starting to come out everyday. Even in the morning about 3:30am or 4:30am when she wants to eat and she try’s to open up the blinds and pull on the knobs to get my attention but she is getting better about the time. She loves to drink the water from the facet and likes to hear the sounds of the water in the shower and I expect her soon to jump in.
She follows me all around the house and loves to play with 3 little green frogs that I had on my computer and now they’re hers. She loves to play with me and I’m always throwing them and she catches them and brings it back to me. She really acts like a dog instead of a cat; she is so smart and understands when you say “No”. Lastly I took her to the Vet last week and she is 8 lbs and 6 oz and they just fell in love with her. I couldn’t imagine life without her. Thank you again PAWS – Paula Lavely

Hello PAWS,
Here is a recent photo of Piper (formerly 'Lilac'.) She is growing quickly and she enjoys going to puppy classes to play with other pups. Her favorite toy is her quacking duck. Piper has been a welcome addition in my life and home.
Thanks,
Barbara McCann

  Dear PAWS,
Though we're not sure if it's your first, we're proud to tell you we now have a PAWS blended family! I first adopted Lila (PAWS name Astrid) when I started grad school three years ago, and have had so much fun with her in that time. She's been a great constant companion, and even went home to my parents' house for Christmas our first year, met all my friends, and now is queen of the cat tree. The summer after I got her, I convinced my boyfriend he needed a cat, too. He ended up coming home with a
brother/sister pair, Hermes and Vesta (we didn't change their names), from one of your foster families. They were a couple of crazy monkeys when he got them, and it was all we could do to keep them off the computer keyboards and everywhere else he was working! They're still feisty and playful at two and a half years of age, but they got a new companion this year, when their dad and I got married in March! We like to think they keep Lila young, and she keeps them out of trouble. As you can see in the picture, they've adopted each other so well, you can hardly tell they weren't ALL litter mates! So, we just wanted to say thanks for giving us such great "kids," and a wonderful blended family!  - Jeff and Meghan (and Hermes, Vesta, and Lila)

Hi PAWS,
I'm absolutely blessed to have found Weezie. In the past couple of months she's really opened up to me and her personality is shining through. No matter the trouble or stresses of the day, she never fails to have me laughing out loud. She's also won over the hearts of all of my family and friends, even the ones who don't usually like animals.  It's been great because she received all of the necessary training and went
through the puppy stages before I got her so our time together has been nothing but wonderful. When people compliment me on what a great dog she is, I tell them that I strongly encourage them to adopt from a shelter as an alternative from "buying a puppy". Weezie says "hi and thank you."  Take care and good luck to you. - Heather Wilhelm

Pancho and Tatum are doing well. Sometimes they play a little rough but we like them and they seem happy here. They are both around 5 pounds now, so they are growing up fast! I hope you are finding lots of homes for all  the other pets out there. We'll be ready again in about 15 years for another pair.
- Todd Kerschke

Dear PAWS Chicago -
Amanda (her name is now actually Stella) is doing great! I absolutely love her. She sleeps with me every night and I even bought an air conditioning unit for her so she doesn't overheat while I'm at work during the day. I can suffer through the heat -- but I refuse to have my cat do so! She's very spoiled. I could not be more pleased with her.  She's such a great
companion. She follows me everywhere and is the best cuddler! PAWS does such great work, especially with matching people with their pets. Stella could not be a more perfect match for me. Best, Katharine Pflaum

  Hi PAWS,
Benito is wonderful!!! He has appointed himself "boss" of all our pets. He is very, very well behaved and very friendly with the neighbors. He sleeps right next to me every night and is my guard if anyone tries to get near me at night. He is so cute! Thanks!
- Mary McClelland

Hi PAWS Chicago,
Mrs. Norris, now called Izzy or Little Cat, is doing great! She has become the queen of the house. She even bosses around my other cat and loves to steal her toys. Both of them seem to tolerate each other, and I hope will someday be friends. Izzy seems to prefer the company of humans more than other cats. She is such a sweet, cuddly cat. We love spending Sunday afternoons sitting on the couch together. She also finds it
necessary to sit on top of me and my computer when I'm trying to work. Thanks!
- Cassi Minutillo

  Hello PAWS,
Lyos is wonderful! He has just completed week 3 of his puppy training class. He has mastered a few basic commands, and we are working on improving his leash walking. He actually walks well on a leash except when birds or other dogs are around, but he is better every day. He is very affectionate, playful, and happy-go-lucky when he is indoors but very serious and on patrol when we go out. Strangers
always walk up to me when I walk him to tell me what a beautiful dog I have. I always tell them about PAWS and what a great place it is. Thanks to you and all of the people at PAWS for the great work you do! - Lisa Richmond

Dear PAWS Chicago,
Nite (now known as Miss Joesphine Midnight) has been great! She has established her rapport with her new sister Miss Millie and they play constantly. Both cats seem very happy. Thanks for everything! - Kathryn O'Day

  Dear PAWS Chicago,
Barney
is doing wonderfully! He is happy and healthy and growing like a weed! He has put on about 10 lbs since the June 4th Angels for Tails event on Michigan Avenue when we first picked him up. I'll have to admit, there were other pups we were considering adopting that day, but the second Barney was pulled from the van he stole our hearts! Everyday Barney continues to learn more about his surroundings and were are currently attending Puppy Kindergarten
weekly. He is a very smart puppy, and at the young age of 4 months has already learned to sit, down, and come. Some of Barney's favorite things to do are taking long walks, chasing birds, flopping over on his back to get belly rubs, and giving lots of kisses! He has become a little spoiled in that he is constantly receiving attention when we walk down the street. People can't get enough of him! He is honestly the cutest, most well behaved puppy we could have ever wished for. Thanks again PAWS! Barney has enriched our lives more than you'll ever know.
- Jill Lindsay and Rich Joseph

Bogey (PAWS name Amadeus) is doing great!! He just graduated from his first session of dog school at Petsmart. He did great and made lots of new friends. He is getting better but he just loves his new family. Who could ask for more? We are looking forward to bringing him to the Run for Their Lives event in October. He will definitely have his red bandana on. Thanks again for such a great dog!!
- Angela Glowacki

Johnny & June are doing just great! They have both settled into their new home beautifully. June is in love with Libby (their new feline sister), and Johnny just wants to be held like a baby. I spoil them rotten, and in return they are the sweetest most loveable dogs. I can't imagine not having adopted the two together. Everyone at PAWS was so wonderful; the whole process was fantastic. Thanks so much for the great work that you do!
- Caroline Bird

Buster (formerly known as Darryl) is doing fantastic! He was
really quiet when we first got home, but as time has progressed his
little rascal side is definitely coming out! He is so spoiled and
totally loving it. I am taking him to get his first haircut this
weekend so that should be fun. He is definitely a lap dog and he still
constantly follows me around the house. Thanks!
- Jennifer Marshall

  Dear PAWS Chicago -
Velvet
has been a wonderful addition to our family! She's getting big, loves to play, and, as you can see, she enjoys watching the birds and squirrels that visit our window ledge.
Best regards,
Chris McClure

Hi PAWS!  Norman's new name is Casey, and he has quickly become a very important part of our family. He thoroughly entertains us, and we find that everyday is a new adventure with him! He is both quiet and lovable, and when interacting with us, he is extremely playful, bringing about hours of fun! At first, Casey was timid, but after only a few days, he warmed up to us, and we can't imagine our family without him. Thank you so much for bringing Casey into our lives! Sincerely, The Horst Family

Hi PAWS Chicago! The kitties are doing really well - they've grown so fast! We actually changed their names from Gameboy to Monty and from Blackberry to Henry. They're very cuddly and playful. I really couldn't have asked for better cats, they're perfect. They've been the vet twice now to get updated for their shots and checkups. No problems. Thanks, Megan Ochanpaugh

Dear PAWS Chicago,
We have renamed Alex as George and he seems to like it. He has adapted well to our house. He gets a little angry if you over pet him too much. He lets us know when he is hungry by nipping at our legs. It is not too bad, but he wakes me up at 4:30 on the dot every morning. Pretty much what you would expect from a neutered adolescent human with no thumbs. :) - Jacob

Hi PAWS,
Sinatra (now named Dr. Jones) is doing great. Here's a picture of him (the big white one!) and our other cat Fritz. We followed your instructions and kept them separated for a little bit, and as soon as we introduced them, they were almost instant buddies. Jones is a sweetheart, and I would recommend PAWS to anyone looking for a pet to adopt. We're so happy to have him, and Fritz is happy to have
a playmate! Thanks again for all of your help. - Nora Ferrell

Hi PAWS,
Ramen (Symba) and Somen (Simian) - also known as the Noodle Brothers - are doing great. We are still getting used to each other and just when Rick and I think we have them figured out, they surprise us! They both have such interesting and different personalities: Ramen loves the brush, Somen thinks its his worst enemy. Ramen will play with anything that moves, Somen needs the toy to come to him. Ramen meows and
purrs all the time, Somen is the silent type (unless you are trying to brush him!). Ramen loves his cat food, Somen is in the kitchen constantly following us around for handouts. We love them to death! - Michelle and Rick Kinney

Dear PAWS Chicago,
Achilles (PAWS name Razr) is happy and healthy and doing well.
Thank you,
Michaelia Fosses

Hello PAWS Chicago,
Sweetie (PAWS name CeCe) is doing great. We just completed an eight week training course and she graduated. She seems to have adjusted to living in our home just fine, and we have all gotten used to being dog owners. When she goes to be groomed, we all miss her so much. We love to take her out for walks, but with the weather being so hot lately, she hasn't been out much. When mom & dad are both
at work, she goes along with Kayla & Joey to grandma's for the day. She likes it there too! In dog training, she learned sit, down, stay, and roll over. She is getting lots of love here in her new home! - Tony & Jill Cannizzo

Hello PAWS!
All is well with Prince; I am so happy to have him! I think he is glad to be with me, too. He stays near me at the house and frequently wants to be pet. He loves playing with his catnip toys, especially when I toss them in the air for him to jump after and capture. He has been generally very well behaved too, with the exception of his habit of waking me every morning around 4 or 5
a.m., wanting breakfast. That's a little too early! Regardless, he is very sweet and very healthy. I'm attaching a photo of him in his kitty bed (from the day I brought him home, actually). Isn't he beautiful! Thank you! - Amy J. Collins

Dear PAWS Chicago,
Betty, is now Cuddles. She is doing great! We are all trying to stay cool in this blistering heat, and Cuddles being black, does not help the situation. Cuddles is in puppy class at PetSmart in Downers Grove. She is the "class clown." She really knows how to start the other dogs up, and then the teacher needs to let them have play time.  It is very fun to watch the Border Collie in her come out when she plays with the other dogs. She is always
trying to heard them together. Cuddles is also growing fast. When we took her home June 4th from Angels with Tails on Michigan Avenue, she weighed only 6 pounds; now she is 22 pounds! She has become a BIG part of our family. Cuddles has also helped our "social" life. We have 5 other dogs on our block and we have become closer friends with the other dog owners because of her! Again, we want to thank PAWS for a wonderful, playful, energetic, rambunctious, and most importantly, fun dog. Keep up the good work! - Marc and Marla Spanjer

Hi PAWS,
Ferris has been renamed Bubba. Bubba is doing very well. He has adjusted to his new name and new home very well.
Thanks so much,
Carol Schiller

Hello PAWS - Thanks for the follow up! Vern and Vaughn (now named Ishmael and Munson) are doing wonderfully! They had a patchy start and definitely needed tons of TLC when they were little, but they've grown into loving, energetic, healthy kitty cats! They're so very much apart of the family and we even refer to them as "the boys." Ishmael is much more sensitive than Munson, but Munson is by far the bigger cuddler. They have great personalities and genuinely love each other. I couldn't have asked for better pets! I've enclosed a picture of them both cuddled together taking an afternoon nap on our sofa blanket. Thanks again! - Chas Stoltz

Hi PAWS!
We have renamed Todd, and he is now known as Louie. He has been a wonderful addition to our family and Ethan and I, as well as our two other cats, Maggie and Voodoo love him!! He is a pure joy!
- Jill Snyder & Ethan Zelizer

Dear PAWS,
Chula is doing wonderful! She's an absolute joy and is doing great!
She loves to play tug-of-war and we have so much fun with her. You'll
see from a beautiful smile that she's loving life and extremely happy
with her new family. Thanks for checking in on Chula. I'll be sure to
let her know!
With best regards, Roseann Saldana

Dear PAWS Chicago,
Lily (Felicity) and I are doing great! She got a little brother a month ago and we are now a happy family. We go to the dog park almost every day so she can visit with her friends. She is very social with other people and dogs. Her and her brother Pierre have a dog walker that comes every day at lunch time to give them some fresh air and a potty break. She is very good on a leash now. She is an excellent big sister to Pierre, who is just 4 months
old. They take turns terrorizing each other. We will probably use our lifetime membership at K-9 University in the Fall and go for a refresher course just to keep things in check! - Lisa Riggle

Hi PAWS Chicago!
Guapo
is doing wonderfully. He is blending in very well with my other two cats, even if they look strangely at him because of that crazy energy kittens have. He is doing well, eating and sleeping like a baby, has crazy energy, and is very healthy. Thanks!
Kathleen Budrean

Hi PAWS! I just wanted to tell you how much we just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our little guy. We did change his name from Boomer to Cooper B. Rabbit. Since he shares many characteristics of a rabbit (looks, hopping, bouncing, and a pink nose), we thought the name was a fitting one :) He was quite shy and reserved at first, but it was quite obvious from the very beginning he just wanted some love from someone. Each day he became more and more alive and here we are a few months later with a "wild man"

on our hands. He sure loves to visit all of his friends at the dog park. Each time we take him, he tires himself out pretty good that he sleeps for hours on end afterward. He LOVES his walks and just LOVES the water. He really is quite a character. We have found that we spend more time laughing at him than anything else. Thank you. - Merideth Chopper

Dear PAWS Chicago:
Miki is now known as Maya and she is doing fine. We have four more weeks left of puppy classes. She was at the vet today and she has gained eight pounds. She now weighs 20lbs and is growing fast! She has adjusted well. Thanks!
Lynn Kurokawa

Hey PAWS -
Buster (formerly Teddy) is doing great! He is a very good
dog, and I'm very happy with my decision to adopt him. Here is a
pictures of him taken at Montrose Beach. Thanks!
Angelique Bernier

Dear PAWS Chicago
Both of our cats are doing great. Zorro (the boy) is now called Cheese and Zara has been renamed Guinness. They are getting bigger by the day.  Thanks again for choosing us to be their parents; they are so much fun!
- Scott and Laura

Hi PAWS,
Oreo has just about gotten me fully trained! She's taught me how she likes to play, what she likes to eat, and when she wants to eat it. She likes to help me work by sitting in my lap and putting her little nose between my hands right up against the keyboard. When she thinks what I'm typing isn't quite good enough, she tries to take over by walking across the keyboard! - Wendy Grossman

Hi PAWS Chicago,
Mica (PAWS name: Panther) is doing really well. It only took about a week before he and my other two cats started to get along great. He's very energetic and playful but eventually will tire himself out and just pass out for a while. He's a wonderful addition to my family and I refer to him as a "mama's boy." He follows me around everywhere and sleeps right next to me at night. So, obviously there are no problems with him being overly
playful at night or noisy. I have so many picture of Mica, so it was difficult to choose one, but I've attached the one I like best. - Michelle Arroyo

Dear PAWS:
We love Eli soooo much. He is the best dog in the world!!!! He has warmed up to us and loves his new home.....and who wouldn't! He has dog beds in every room and a big toy box for all of his squeaky toys! He is having a ball! - Pam, Rudy & Eli

Dear PAWS Chicago,
We adopted Roxy (PAWS name: Crystal) in May and now can't imagine life without her. She's extremely affectionate and loving, very playful, and
always curious. Her favorite things are cardboard boxes, paper balls,
and chasing her tail in the bathtub. She is always excited to see us and
we feel the same about her. Thanks PAWS!
- Paige & John

Queen Latifah is doing great in her new home. She is such a joy to have
around. Every day, when I get home from work, she is waiting in the
window ready to greet me. Queenie's housemate, Witt, is slowly getting
use to her and they are making strides every day. A huge thank you to
everyone at PAWS for caring for Queen and being there with us every step
of the way.
- Lauren Finch

Dear PAWS,
We picked up Mango and Chutney on March 13th 2006. We all quickly adjusted to the changes, and we are all fine. Mango and Chutney are active and playful. They play with us and with each other. They are fund of people and seem happy. The passed the vet's exam with A+ health. Thank you so much!
- Morten and Hanne

Hi! Evander is doing GREAT! I have renamed him Dio, and he has really adapted well to his new home. My major concern was that he would not get along with my other white cat, Hank, but they have become quite a pair. They sleep together all day and play all night. It has really been a relief, since the main reason I got another cat was to keep Hank company. Thanks so much!!
- Danielle Ramirez

Hello PAWS!
I just wanted to tell you how much we love our little guy we adopted from you. Just when we were looking for a playmate for our other newly adopted cat, Baboo, we came across an adoption event at our local bank. That's when we met our Little Beezer (aka Romeo at PAWS).  We couldn't resist him because he looked so similar to our other cat.  Little Beez now lives in Los Angeles and enjoys time watching the birds and snuggling with his big
brother. I love what you are doing for homeless animals. Thank you! - Heather Schnell

Hi PAWS!
Sterling
is doing great. We still see gradual changes in her; she seems even more comfortable than before. We are anticipating that she will continue to get even better as time goes on. When we were first
fostering her, she was pretty antisocial and scared, but now, after
we've adopted her, she seems pretty happy!  Thanks!
- Liz Hargreaves

Dear PAWS,
It has been a year since our two cats, Graphite and Leo and our dog Bailey have passed away. We miss them. They had been with us many years. We are both in our late sixties and decided we would not have any more pets. Every now and then we would check out the PAWS web page just to 'look'. In May we saw Georgia, aka Malibu on your page. She was so
cute that we decided to go to Noah's Ark just to 'see' her.  We both fell in love. Lo and behold her sister, Savannah, appeared on the scene. We were told that they were a pair and could not be separated so we took both. We thought the pair should keep their names Savannah and Georgia. The two kittens are inseparable. They do everything together, even the potty. They are naughty, fun, and lovable. My favorite is that they have become my quilting companions. When I start to quilt, they sense it and jump up on the table to sleep on the quilt I am working on. We love these two sisters and looking for a small dog now. Thank you for giving them to us.
- Mary Jo

Dear PAWS Chicago,
Hi there! This is a new picture of the PAWS Alumni kitties Kennedy, Roman, and Franklin (the three tiny kittens on the PAWS Chicago flyers!). They already have their story and an older picture posted, but I thought it would be nice to update the page with a more recent picture! They are having a wonderfully spoiled life, and every time we go into a pet store or other
establishment where the PAWS flyer is posted, we make sure to brag about how those are OUR kitties! Hope you enjoy the picture! - Lauren McCune

Dear PAWS Chicago,
Dixie is now known as Pia and she's wonderful. We've just about finished our second obedience class and she's great at it. She gets along with other dogs and all people. I've had her groomed three times by two different people and she's fine with that too. So all's well, thanks!
- Lynn Coe

Dear PAWS Chicago:
Hello! My fiancé and I adopted Princess through the Meet Your Match program in June. We renamed her Kaia Belle (or the artist formerly known as Princess), and she has responded well to her new name. She was a bit shy at first, but she has turned into a gregarious, playful pup! She loves to chew on bones and play fetch.  She gets along with all other dogs in our family, at daycare, and at the dog beach. She
likes to cuddle up on the couch with us at night, and she is a total sucker for a belly rub. She learned housebreaking really quickly, and we have her in obedience classes now. She even gets along with her two kitten brothers (who tend to ignore her for the most part), and she thinks they are little dogs with which to play. Everywhere we go, people tell us how beautiful, sweet, and well-behaved she is and we totally agree. We couldn't imagine life without her, and we are so happy that she is a member of our pack!  - Kelly and Andrew Raymond

Dear PAWS Chicago:
Marigold's name has been changed to Femi which means Love Me in Yoruba, a Nigerian language. She is doing great around children and other dogs. She is a joy to us and everyone on the block.
- Tasha Pierce and Linda Ramos

Dear PAWS Chicago:
Marra
has lived with us for a month now and we absolutely adore her. She absolutely loves the kids and loves to wake them up in the morning. She gets along with the other children and dogs on the block and we just totally love having her as part of our family.  I would like to thank all the people at PAWS who helped with the adoption. They gave us some great advice about
owning a dog and the adoption process went very smoothly. I would recommend anyone looking for a dog to attend one of your events. Thanks again. - Donna Jonauskas

Gracie (PAWS name Lydia) is doing great and loving her new home in Florida. She loves her backyard and having room to chase Elli around and drive her crazy. The heat has been an adjustment but Gracie is doing great and growing daily. We are so thankful that Gracie ended up in our lives since it happened by chance after all...or maybe not - I just couldn't leave PAWS without taking a dog with me! :) Thanks for everything. It was great working with you guys and hopefully I will see you all soon.
- Kerry Whiteley

Dear PAWS Chicago:
Willow and Paisley (PAWS: Sedona and Soleil) have been my sweet girls for over seven months, and I cannot imagine my home without them. Paisley greets me at the door every evening and wakes me with head butts and purrs every morning. Willow,
originally shy, now likes nothing more than a warm lap and a good brushing. Perhaps most importantly, Willow and Paisley
are best friends and always together. Endless thanks to PAWS for our happy, healthy family!
