Gift Records Manager
Position Summary
The Gift Records Manager takes a leadership role in utilizing the Raiser’s Edge database to its fullest capacity. The Gift Records Manager is responsible for maintaining an accurate database. S/he is responsible for managing all staff recording, batching, tracking, and acknowledging of all gifts
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain the Raiser’s Edge constituent database
- Work with the VP of Development to develop, implement and track an annual giving program
- Recommend and oversee all new Raiser’s Edge software and programs implementation Gift entry and batching, deposits, and acknowledgements of large gifts ($500+) and all online gifts
- Run various queries and generate reports, such as weekly reports of large gifts, direct mail, capital campaign, etc.
- Work with IT staff to develop custom reports Maintain accurate Campaign records, including gifts, pledges and donors lists
- Assist in preparing Annual Report Honor Roll of Donor materials
- Update prospect data as requested
- Ensure that PAWS Chicago staff members are trained in the database
- Generate pledge reminder letters
- Maintain accurate records and work with the finance department on annual audits

Lurie Spay / Neuter Clinic & Admissions Center Director
PAWS Chicago is looking for a dynamic, motivated, professional who is passionate about animal welfare and the "No Kill" movement. This individual will be responsible for the management of the PAWS Chicago Lurie Spay / Neuter Clinic and the Intake & Admissions Center. The Clinic performs over 16,000 spay / neuter surgeries and is one of the largest clinics in the county. The Admissions Center will intake over 3,000 animals through Animal Care & Control and our Owner Relinquishment Partnering Program. To be successful in this position, you must be able to lead, motivate and manage team members and volunteers, manage relationships with strategic partners, manage successfully in a fluid environment that is dependant on the logistics of the organization, while adhering to the mission of the organization. Shelter Medicine Vet Assistant
Part time, approx 20-30 hrs/week
The PAWS Shelter Medicine Vet Assistant will be responsible for the performance of exams along with Shelter Medicine Vet and the documentation of medical and daily care of PAWS adoption cats and dogs. They will be able to vaccinate and medicate adoption animals. They will be responsible for generating initial paperwork for Shelter Medicine Vet to work from and for processing the resulting information back into formats needed to move animal along in quarantine process to ultimately release for adoption. Part-time/Fill-in Animal Care Giver
Caring for our adoptable animals is one of the most important roles at PAWS
Chicago. Animal Care Givers play a crucial role in the physical, emotional and
medical needs of PAWS Chicago animals. We are looking for hard-working, reliable
and animal-loving individuals to serve in a part time/fill-in role caring for
the adoptable animals at our 3516 West 26th Street location. This position is on
an as-needed basis and will likely include weekends and/or holidays. Any
candidate must be willing to clean all animal rooms/common areas, walk and
socialize animals, dispense medication as needed and other tasks as assigned.

Shelter Medicine Veterinarian
This part time position (20 hours per week) entails working with PAWS
Chicago support staff to ensure that all of the pre-adoption medical needs of
our rescue animals are met. It is a fast paced environment working with

Experience with preparing animals for surgical suite - Monitor animal, draw
