Harry's Story

Harry is a super sweet boy from Dominica looking for his forever home in Chi-Town!

Harry is a little shy meeting new people and in new situations, so he’d do best with adopters that would give him time to get to know everyone at his pace. Luckily, it doesn’t take long for Harry to warm up, so with just a little patience, positive reinforcement, and yummy treats it won’t be long before Harry feels at home with you!

Harry walks well on leash, enjoys enrichment like Kongs, loves being petted, getting affection, and most of all receiving belly rubs; his foster describes him as a “fun, lovable and bright guy”!

Are you Harry’s new family? If you’re ready to welcome this sweet boy into your home, don’t have a resident dog and are happy to take introductions at Harry’s pace, it won’t be long before you’ll be rewarded with Harry’s belly and all the affection this lovely pup has to offer!

Meet Harry

Harry can’t wait to meet you!

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:

1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!

2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.

3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.

Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!

Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
