Hello, I'm Missy
I'm a darling little cuddle-bug.
Missy's Story
We adopted Missy, and ended up keeping her name. She is a timid little girl, so we have had more firsts than a normal adoption, including things like: the first time we touched her without her startling, and the first time she took a drink without me bringing the water dish to her. We have done the scared dog thing before, so we get really excited about all of the extra things we get to cheer about for our Missy. Missy prefers women, which is just a thrill to our teenage daughter. We regularly participate in "girl time" with the three of us, and Missy is a darling little cuddle bug. My husband is making good inroads now too, though, because Missy is very food motivated. My husband hands out toast crusts every morning, and Missy has learned to anticipate this blessed Jirousek morning event. My husband reported that there were circles and joyous prancing this morning when Missy figured out it was toast time. She is a little quirk, our Missy. We are musicians, and she quickly learned to snooze away through all manner of loud practicing. She quickly charmed our other dog, Jeffy. The picture I am including is of them sleeping cozy together, and this happens on and off all day. Like good dog siblings, they play nicely, get angry, and work it out in time for a long nap together. We are glad they have each other, and that we have them.
