$65 Vetting of Large Dogs and Cats at Risk of Euthanasia

Through the Rescue Ready program, rescue groups without in-house veterinary capabilities can now schedule spay/neuter and vetting at the PAWS Chicago Medical Center for CACC large-breed dogs that are or will be over 40 lbs and cats at the highly discounted package price of $65 per animal.  

 

Services included in the $65 per animal fee:

Pre-operative exam, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, heartworm test for dogs, Felv/FIV test for cats, and vaccines (including rabies for both dogs/cats and DA2PPL for dogs, FVRCP for cats). Please note: No overnight stays. Dropoff and pickup will be on the same day.  

Eligible Pets

Large-breed dogs that are or will be over 40 lbs and cats transferred from CACC. 

Eligible Partners

Homeward Bound rescue partners in good standing that do not have in-house veterinarian services.
