3 SIMPLE STEPS TO MEET THIS PET:
Dollar's Story
Dollar is a talkative, loving senior cat looking to find a place she can call home. She has been described as a true sweetheart who “has a large appetite and ravenous vigor for life,” despite being toothless. She loves an evening snuggle and is an affectionate lady. Dollar will socialize with anyone, whether she knows them or not. She enjoys spending her days lounging around the house, looking out windows and occasionally playing with string toys.
Age often comes with health challenges, and it’s no different for Dollar. She takes daily medication to control hyperthyroidism and arthritis. She also needs a low-sided litter box that is easy for her to step into.
Is Dollar the cat for you? She may be if you have a quiet home and can provide Dollar with time to adjust to other animals, if need be. If you are looking for an easy-going sweetheart of a cat and can commit to maintaining her elder-care needs, then Dollar would love to be a part of your family.

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:
1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!
2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.
Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!
Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
