Brigid's Story
Brigid is a beautiful, opinionated lady who loves to spend time watching nature's television (wildlife outside the window). She has no problem letting you know when it's time to eat and when she wants to be alone. Discerning when it comes to the company she keeps, once she finds her person Brigid will snuggle up and stick by them. She is slow to warm up in new situations and with new people so patience and ample space to call her own will help. Need a cameo for a zoom call, Brigid is happy to oblige.

2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.
Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!

Adoption Process
All PAWS Chicago dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have up-to-date shots based on age and arrival date.
