Brigid's Story

Brigid is a beautiful, opinionated lady who loves to spend time watching nature's television (wildlife outside the window). Discerning when it comes to the company she keeps, once she finds her person Brigid will snuggle up and stick by them. She is slow to warm up in new situations and with new people so patience and ample space to call her own will help. Do you live in a calm household without children or other animals and with space and a window for Brigid is currently available through our help me Help Me Heal program. Help Me Heal is a foster-to-adopt program for pets like Brigid. Brigid is currently healing from weight loss. But Brigid doesn't have to wait in the shelter while she is healing - she can go to her future adopter's home through our Help Me Heal foster-to-adopt program.

By choosing to foster and then adopt you’re helping Brigid transition into a forever family more quickly and with less anxiety. During the Help Me Heal foster period, PAWS even covers all medical care and medicine until your pet is medically cleared for adoption.

Meet Brigid

Brigid can’t wait to meet you!

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:

1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!

2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.

3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.

Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!

Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
