Hello, I'm Sage
She’s still shy, but will look at me and meow such small meows they sound like squeaks. I pet her every morning and she loves to put her head in my hand so I can give her more scratches and attention.
Sage's Story
Adopting Sage (newly named Meila) was the best thing I have done for myself in such a long time. She’s still shy, but will look at me and meow such small meows they sound like squeaks. I pet her every morning and she loves to put her head in my hand so I can give her more scratches and attention.
Meila is getting along beautifully with my other cat, Gluestick; they frequently chase each other through the apartment and like to play together with the wand toy. They each get lots of treats and love everyday and can be found sleeping on their designated cat chair or the barstools that sit just under the counter!
Thank you for the wonderful experience of adopting a cat and all the generosity from all the staff and volunteers. I recommend PAWS Chicago to everyone I talk to so they can bring home a furry friend!
