Ida's curiosity knows no bounds - she delights in playing on her own with small toys, like faux-fur balls, or engaging with a wand toy for extra fun. And her foster says she's definitely an "economical kitty date", as she will happily chase cloth strips on a wand toy, so no need to break the bank playing with fun-loving Ida!
Ida receives medication three times a day to manage seizures, but the good news is she takes her meds happily when mixed into her food. She is also trained to use a scratching post, so this girl is the epitome of politest kitty in Chi-town! Ida is a sweet gentle cat who strikes a perfect balance between seeking interaction and enjoying her own time, so if you're searching for a low-key, loving companion who will occasionally “wash your hands” in the cutest cat-style, and be your loving cuddle-buddy at the end of a long day, Ida will be the perfect addition to your family!

Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!
