Carissa's Story

Looking for an independent, VERY chill, very playful mini-panther? This calm kitty would love to be your furry sidekick! Carissa’s fosters love her cute little chirps and meows, and she loves that they always have a shoelace or wand toy for her to play with. Carissa doesn’t demand a lot of attention: her favorite activities include basking in the sun, stealthily prowling the nooks and crannies of her home, and wasting no time claiming her spot on your bed.

Could you be Carissa’s new family? Carissa’s humans need to be comfortable administering medication because she has arthritis and requires a special diet. But that doesn’t slow her down! If you’re seeking a friendly feline companion to keep you company, and you’re cool with a cutie who doesn’t need constant pets, and you could be Carissa’s perfect match!

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:

1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!

2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.

3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.

Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!

Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
