Hawthorne's Story

Hawthorne here is a seriously self-sufficient feline friend. While mostly independent, he would love absolutely nothing more than to just be your best pal. Hawthorne is happy to be around your family and older children, and although he will need some time to adjust if there are other kitty cat friends around, he is totally open to making other kitty friends! He is quite the energetic one, so he would absolutely thrive with some daily activity and enrichment.

Are you Hawthorne's new family? If you're looking for an independent kitty that will absolutely shine when given some time and patience, then maybe this little guy is just for you.

Meet Hawthorne

Hawthorne can’t wait to meet you!

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:

1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!

2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.

3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.

Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!

Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
