3 SIMPLE STEPS TO MEET THIS PET:
Alvaro's Story
Alvaro’s curious, energetic personality has made him a natural at clicker training, and he can high-five, spin, and boop a target! This athlete loves puzzle feeders, wand toys, and things he can pounce and grab onto, so expect him to ask for frequent play sessions. Otherwise, Alvaro enjoys hanging around his people, sometimes inspecting their activities closeup and sometimes supervising from up high. While he doesn’t require a lot of lap time, his foster said that he would snuggle whenever he sensed they were having a bad day. Because of Alvaro’s high energy levels, he’d do best in an adults-only home as the only cat.
Are you Alvaro’s new family? If you’re an experienced cat person who can offer this active, playful dude lots of structured playtime, you might just be the perfect fit.

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:
1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!
2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.
Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!
Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
