Wishbone's Story
Wishbone’s foster family described him as a “gentle, sweet dog” and they can’t wait to find this “short king” his fur-ever home! He’s comfortable in his crate and trustworthy in the house, so you can focus your time together on creating a special bond. Wishbone easily grows to love belly rubs, walks, and lounging around, but just needs a little time to get to know his new family at his own pace.
Are you Wishbone’s new family? You might be if you have another dog in the house that Wishbone could shadow as he warms up to his new home, gaining the confidence - in no time - to strut his little legs around!
Meet Wishbone
Join us for our Spring Adopt-A-Thon from May 16-18th at our Lincoln Park Adoption Center (1997 N. Clybourn Ave)! We will be extending our hours and adding appointments to help many homeless pets find their families this spring. All animals with the "Spring AAT" banner will be at our adoption center ready to meet you! Please note that the full adoption fee still applies to select animals.
If you are interested in adopting this pet, there are a few steps you must complete before scheduling an appointment at our Lincoln Park Adoption Center:
- Please start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they are a good fit for your home.
- After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
- Finally, complete our Foster Pet Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and, if they have next steps, reach out within a few days.
