3 SIMPLE STEPS TO MEET THIS PET:
Stork's Story
There is nothing better than the help of a stress-free and loving home for pets who are healing from illness or injury. That’s why we created Help Me Heal, a foster-to-adopt program for pets like Stork. Stork is a great dog who was bitten by a mosquito, and now has heartworm. She is not contagious to you or your pets and will completely recover following medical treatment through PAWS. Stork doesn't have to wait in the shelter while she is healing - she can go to her future adopter's home through our Help Me Heal foster-to-adopt program. Stork has been described as a very sweet mama pup who loves to play and cuddle time. Her favorite toys are her kongs!
By choosing to foster and then adopt you’re helping Stork transition into a forever family more quickly and with less anxiety. During the Help Me Heal foster period, PAWS even covers all medical care and medicine until your pet is medically cleared for adoption. Stork would love for a new home to help her heal.
Meet Stork
Stork can’t wait to meet you!
If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:
1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!
2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.
Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!
Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
