3 SIMPLE STEPS TO MEET THIS PET:
Wendy's Story
Wendy is a super sweet senior gal, who’s already housetrained, crate trained and knows several basic commands, so she’s ready to move in when you are! Wendy enjoys her walks but prefers them in quieter “low-dog traffic” areas, where she can take in all the scenery and take her time smelling the flowers! And of course, a few treats along the way would not go amiss with this sophisticated lady!
Wendy would do best as the only pet in a calm home environment, without too many comings and goings, as she can be a bit nervous meeting new people or in noisy situations, so she is hoping her forever family can welcome her at her own pace and give her time to settle in. But it doesn’t take long for Wendy to warm up, and when she does, you’ll know it, as she’ll roll onto her back, so you have the privilege of giving ‘milady’ plenty of belly rubs!
Wendy is also part of our Help Me Heal, a foster-to-adopt programme; by choosing to foster and then adopt you’re helping Wendy transition into a forever family more quickly and with less anxiety. During the Help Me Heal foster period, PAWS even covers all medical care and medicine until your pet is medically cleared for adoption.

Wendy can’t wait to meet you!
If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:
1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!
2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.
Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!
Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
