Zahir's Story
Zahir is the full package, a ‘move-in ready’, sweet pup who’s set to become your very best friend! Zahir is housetrained, does great in the home, is totally fine being left alone, loves people, knows lots of commands like ‘Sit, Stay, Shake, Paw, Drop’ etc, plus is a fully fledged “fetch master” who will throw the ball to herself to catch when you need a break!
Zahir has lived with cats and is happy to have a kitty sibling or two, and she will patiently wait for them to accept her. Her fosters have described her as a lovely, cuddly, very affectionate, easy-going gal, who also likes to be active, and will delightfully amuse herself by pouncing on her toys when there’s no one else to play with!
Zahir can be a little shy and fearful with certain loud noises and would probably benefit from a lower ’doggy traffic’ area, but could be fine with the right calm, doggo companion.
This sweet girl really deserves all the love and patience of a loving forever home, where she can blossom and reveal her goofy personality, with its delightful ‘army crawl’ towards the people she wants to meet! 2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.
Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!
