Pelota's Story

Pelota is a young, playful, and energetic girl that would love to spend her time with you! Pelota is incredibly sweet natured and affectionate, loves people and other dogs, and is already well on the way to being the best girl!

Pelota already has command of some basic training, and would love to work on more tricks, and as she’s very treat-motivated, and bright as a button, training with Pelota is a cinch! Pelota is also “very polite when meeting with other dogs” and has very good manners for a young dog, so she’d definitely do well with a doggy sibling too! Pelota is also happy to chill at home for a few hours while you’re out, though she wouldn’t say ‘no’ to a treat-filled Kong while you’re away, as she loves her food!

Are you Pelota’s new family? Pelota does great on a leash, is loving, friendly and playful and an all-round perfect girl, so if you’re looking for an affectionate, sweet young pup, you could be just the home Pelota is wishing for!

Meet Pelota

Pelota can’t wait to meet you!

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:

1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!

2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.

3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.

Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!

Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
