Meet “Canine Life and Social Skills” 2024 graduate and super good boy Mervin! With ‘A’ star ratings in behaviour and social skills, this wonderful boy is extremely sweet and loving, and without doubt one of the best pups in Chi-Town!
Mervin can be rather shy around new people and in new situations, so to help him transition successfully, he’ll need patient adopters who will give him time and space to settle into his new home. Taking intros at Mervin’s pace, with plenty of positive reinforcement and enrichment, will soon pay dividends with this super good boy, and quickly set him up for success. And once Mervin feels at home, he can show you how he achieved his ‘BA’, and you’ll get to see the real Mervin, a super good boy who loves his food, tackling his Kongs, showing off his skills and cuddling with his new family!

2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.
Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!
