Flora's Story

Even if you’re not a keen botanist, you’ll be over the moon having this sweet Flora in your home! This lovely six-year-old girl is a beautiful, sweet-natured pup, who is not your typical “spunky” Australian Shepherd, but a shy and polite girl, who will gently ask you for love and attention.

Flora can be rather shy and a bit fearful, though she will soon relax and feel more confident, and if her forever home comes with another resident doggo, that would be even better for this sweet blossom, as she enjoys being around other dogs, as they build her confidence both in the home and going on walks.

Flora is already housebroken, and she’s a super girl who can be left alone for a few hours. So, if you’re a patient adopter, happy to take interactions while getting to know each other slowly and at Flora’s pace, you’ll soon find your best friend melting into your arms for those pets!

Meet Flora

Flora can’t wait to meet you!

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:

1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!

2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.

3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.

Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!

Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
