Nila's Story
Nila has blossomed into a social butterfly! This girl loves to go to the local pet store and pick out her treat. She makes friends with the store associates and trades tricks for treats. “She is super sweet” says her former foster mom. Nila makes canine friends just as easily and enjoys playing a game of tug with her dog friends. She is also happy to lay down next to them and keep them company.
City streets and sounds do not phase her. This energetic girl calms down with belly rubs and pets. Peanut butter treats are her favorite. She has mastered many commands – sit, down, paw, hand touch. She knows to “wait” patiently and will willingly “go to crate” when requested and is comfortable being left alone for up to four hours. Nila is diligently working toward an 'A' for her house-training skills.
Nila is a quick learner and has made so much progress in her time with us. This beauty is ready to bring some sparkle and shine to her new family……will it be yours?

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:
1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!
2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.
Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!
