Callie is #1 in my life now.
Callie's Story
I was thinking of adopting but decided to foster first to make sure it was the right decision. Instead, I only fostered one dog, my Callie, for one week before adopting her. She was house-trained, perfectly well-behaved and already knew basic commands. I have never crated her and she has never caused any mischief, even when I'm away at work.
I kept her name because she knows it well. I enrolled her in an agility class for beginners at PAWS because she loves running so much, especially when she spots squirrels or birds! She is not shy or fearful and likes greeting all other dogs and people on the street when we go for walks.
She was the star of her adoption party, where she got plenty of treats and attention, and was even ok with wearing a party hat!
