Roxanne's Story
We are all getting our routine down together; I walk her in the morning, mom walks her during the day and my sister walks her in the evening with some time in the backyard to run around. Julie is so sweet and affectionate. Everyone she has met loves her and she has made friends with a neighborhood dog already. As for the cats we already have, Milo and Jackie have gotten used to Julie's presence. They still like to keep their distance from her but for the most part they respect each others' space.
As of now, we have not encountered any concerning behaviors. Her confidence is growing each day and she now likes to explore different parts of the house by herself (she did not leave my side the first couple of days). I've been taking her to the park to get used to people, other dogs and the noise and so far she is doing great. With the nice weather we are having, we have been going out for longer walks and been shopping around as a family at Petco :)
