Norman is now 1 yr old, smart, beautiful and with great behavior to well represent the breed and shelter dogs.

Norman's Story

Norman is now 1 yr old, smart, beautiful and with great behavior to well represent the breed and shelter dogs.

We do a lot of training with him which he seems to enjoy and masters almost immediately. We will continue training classes and hopefully he can certify as a therapy dog through PAWS.

It has been an adjustment for us as first time dog owners but my years as a PAWS volunteer has really proven worthwhile. My husband and I and any visitors we have couldn't be happier with our new buddy.

Paws Descriptions

Children

Adults only, please! I prefer a mature crowd.

2 x

I’ll do best in a home with children aged 12 and up.

3 x

I’ll do best in a home with children aged 8 and up.

I’ll do best in a home with children aged 5 and up.

I love people! Chances are, I’ll love your kids too!

Dogs

1 x

I do best with no interaction with other dogs.

2 x

I’m picky with whom I socialize. I may improve with time and management!

3 x

I’m selective. I don’t dislike dogs, but I do best when I have time to adjust.

I’m a social butterfly with few restrictions in pairings!

5 x

I like dogs! Big dogs. Little dogs. Bring ‘em on.

Cats

I’ve never met a cat as far as PAWS knows!

I’ll do best in a house with no cats.

I’m still testing the waters with cats. I’ll do best with time and management.

I would love some feline friends, but I’ll do best with some supervision at first.

Home Alone

I’ll do best in a home where I won’t be left alone.

Activity

I’m high energy! I’ll do best with an active owner who likes to run, hike, play, etc.

I’ll do best with a few laps around the block or a few romps in the yard.
