Simon's Story
Two-year-old Simon recently came to PAWS Chicago as a stray cat from the streets of Chicago. This sweet handsome boy unfortunately has progressive Feline Leukemia and our veterinarians feel he only has a few weeks left to live. We are urgently seeking a compassionate individual to provide him comfort, care and companionship in his final days. Simon is currently in a foster home while he waits to find a potential forever home!
If you have a big heart, a quiet space and a home with no other felines, please consider adopting Simon. If you are interested in performing the ultimate act of kindness, please submit an application for this sweet guy!

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:
1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!
2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.
Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!
