Talia's Story

Talia is a sweet 5-year-old pup who appreciates the finer things in life, like stuffed toys, being cuddled and petted and being around her family! Talia is housebroken, is learning to be comfortable in her crate, and already knows lots of commands, like: ‘Sit’, ‘Stay’, ‘Come’, and ‘Down’. She has also started learning some basic clicker training, so it would be great if her new family could continue with that, as Talia is a super smart girl who would benefit from both physical and mental stimulation to help her channel her energy and test her IQ; so lots of positive reinforcement and enrichment would definitely suit Talia down to the ground!

Talia prefers to eat dry food and sleep in her bed during the day, and is fine being left alone, and though she may benefit from a quieter home, she can go with kids 5 and older

This sweet girl loves toys, going for walks, exercise, and is ready to become the best family dog she can be. So, if you’re a patient adopter, who’s ready to take things a little slowly to let Talia settle in at her own pace, you’ll be rewarded by this sweet, cuddly and protective girl who will love nothing more than being your family pet!

Talia can’t wait to meet you!

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:

1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!

2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.

3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.

Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!

Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
