Mandy's Story

Mandy has been described by her foster as a sweet and energetic girl with “a dopey grin”! Mandy is somewhat shy with new people and in new situations at first, so to help her transition into her new home successfully, she’ll need patient adopters who can give her some time and space to feel at home. Mandy thrives with positive reinforcement and patient guidance, as once Mandy feels at home, she enjoys treats, loves cuddles, being with her people, and playing with toys. Her foster said she will enthusiastically greet you when you come home with a wiggly butt, while she shows off all her toys!

Are you Mandy’s new family? It won’t take long for Mandy to feel comfortable and confident with just a little time and patience. Mandy is playful, affectionate, crate trained and housetrained, and is a super sweet gal. So, if you’re happy to take things slowly to help this sweet pup get to know you, she’ll very soon be the belle of your ball and reward you with all her wiggly love!

Meet Mandy

Mandy can’t wait to meet you!

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, there are few steps you must complete before scheduling an appointment at our Lincoln Park Adoption Center:

1. Please start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to their needs!

2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.

3. Finally, schedule an appointment at our Lincoln Park Adoption Center! During your appointment, you’ll be able to meet all currently adoptable animals at our Lincoln Park Adoption Center and walk through the adoption process with our staff and volunteers. Appointments are not required but encouraged for a more efficient visit.

Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet during your first visit to the Adoption Center, please feel free to schedule another appointment.

Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
