Gingersnap's Story

Gingersnap is all about calm environments, gentle direction, and predictable daily activities. She would welcome a handful of treats to accompany new experiences! She would do best with a "furry friend" at home, as she loves other dogs. She appreciates walks in quiet neighborhoods where she can focus on her leash-walking skills. A private entrance to her home would be much appreciated. If left alone at home, she can handle herself for up to six hours, although a check-in from a dog walker would be great.

Are you Gingersnap’s person? You could be if you have a resident dog and can invest a little extra time to gently introduce her to your world, then sit back and enjoy her playful affection!

Meet Gingersnap

Gingersnap can’t wait to meet you!

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:

1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!

2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.

3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.

Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!

Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
