3 SIMPLE STEPS TO MEET THIS PET:
Dennis's Story
Meet Dennis, a sleek black kitty looking for a warm lap to nap on. The more we get to know him, the more we fall in love! Dennis is a friendly, affectionate, sometimes chatty boy. Being on the young side of cathood, he enjoys a good play session – he finds wand toys, crinkle balls and mouse toys quite enticing. He also loves to be petted from head to tail and will happily relax in your lap when he’s had his fill of a petting session.
Dennis is FIV positive. This means that he has a suppressed immune system and will need to go to the vet for regular check-ups. However, he doesn't let this stop him from being a loving companion who is ready to fill your home with play sessions and snuggle time! Are you Dennis’ new family? If you are looking for a sweet and playful cat and you can commit to his needed vet routine, you just might be!

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:
1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!
2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.
Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!
Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
