Georgia's Story

When you walk through our adoption center’s DogTown, you’ll find an array of high energy pups who come up close to their window, eager to get your attention. Then there’s Georgia—usually nestled on her bed, quiet and calm. Ultimately, Georgia is simply looking for a cuddle partner, someone who can match her chill, calm lifestyle.

Georgia’s calmness is not for a lack of love to give. Georgia has been described as extremely affectionate and loyal by her (adoring) foster parents. Unlike some of the puppies that find our way to us, Georgia came to PAWS as a five-year-old. We aren’t completely sure of her life before PAWS, but we do know that she may need a minute to warm up to new people.

Are you an experienced pet owner whose couch might need an extra furry friend? Perhaps Georgia’s cuddles could help—we sure know that your cuddles could help Georgia.

Meet Georgia

Georgia can’t wait to meet you!

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:

1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!

2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.

3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.

Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!

Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
