Omaha's Story

Omaha is a big, soft, gentle giant who’d love to find her forever home with you! Despite her size, Omaha can be a little timid and shy in new situations, and prefers to take things slowly till she feels comfortable. But once she’s had a little time to open up to new people, she’ll soon wow you with her bursts of happy, puppy energy!

Omaha is very friendly and affectionate; her foster mum said she loves playing with her toys, her favourites being stuffed toys, squeaky toys, ropes, and tennis balls! And if you’re ready to play, she’d love to show off all her toys and her best skills, like “sit, stay, come, drop, and leave it”! And of course, Omaha knows “good girl”, as she hears that all the time! Omaha is working hard on her housetraining and crate training; in fact training this lovely girl is super easy, especially if you bust out those treats and pets!

Are you Omaha’s new family? This gentle girl loves being around her family, getting pets and having tasty treats, as she loves her food! So, if you’re willing to be a little patient, and happy to give this sweet pup some time to build her confidence, you will soon have the best and biggest softie in Chi-town!

Meet Omaha

Omaha can’t wait to meet you!

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:

1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!

2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.

3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.

Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!

Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
